Pale-winged Starling

The Pale-winged Starling is a medium-sized bird found in the savannas and grasslands of southern Africa. It is characterized by its pale grey plumage with distinctive white wing patches. These social birds are often seen in small flocks, foraging for insects and fruits. They build their nests in tree cavities and are known for their melodious calls. The species is not currently considered to be at risk, but habitat loss and fragmentation are potential threats to its populations.
