Pallid Dove, Leptotila pallida, is a bird of the Columbidae family that breeds in Colombia and Ecuador in South America. It was described by Berlepsch and Taczanowski in 1884. In the tropical lowlands of the west, it lives in the Chocó region from western Colombia into north-western Ecuador, where it uses both intact and altered evergreen forest as well as drier semi-deciduous woodland. It is a monotypic species and was once grouped with several other doves, including the grey-fronted dove.
