Myiagra nana (Gould, 1870)

Paperbark Flycatcher, Myiagra nana, is a monarch bird of northern Australia and southern New Guinea, breeding from the Trans-Fly in south New Guinea to north-western Queensland and north-western Western Australia. It lives in tropical eucalypt woodland, paperbark woodland and dry riverine woodland in Australia, and in scrub, partly submerged trees and sedgeland beside rivers on floodplains and savanna in New Guinea. It was first described by Gould in 1870. It is closely related to the Restless Flycatcher, but is distinct and does not overlap with it in range.
