Garritornis isidorei (Lesson, RP, 1827)

Papuan Babbler, Garritornis isidorei, is a bird of the Australasian babbler family found from Misool in the Raja Ampat Islands through the Bird’s Head and Neck of north-west New Guinea to south-east New Guinea. It lives in New Guinea’s moist lowland forests in tropical and subtropical areas. Also known as the New Guinea babbler and Isidore’s rufous babbler, it belongs to the order Passeriformes and was described by Lesson in 1827.
