Papuan Parrotfinch

They are social birds often found in small flocks, feeding on seeds, fruits, and insects. The Papuan Parrotfinch plays an important role in seed dispersal within its habitat. Despite being relatively common in its range, habitat loss and trapping for the pet trade pose threats to its populations.
