Papyrus Canary, Crithagra koliensis, is a finch in the family Fringillidae that breeds in central and eastern Africa, from Uganda and eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo through Burundi and north-western Tanzania to western Kenya. It is closely tied to papyrus stands, where it nests and uses papyrus leaves as the main nesting material. It is also recorded in cultivation near highland papyrus. Formerly placed in Serinus, it was moved to Crithagra after DNA studies showed that the old genus did not form a natural group.
