Paradise Parrot, Psephotellus pulcherrimus, was an extinct parrot of eastern Australia, recorded from central and southern Queensland and northern New South Wales. It lived in grassy woodland across that border region. First described by John Gould in 1845, it was notable for its strikingly varied plumage, with turquoise, aqua, scarlet, black and brown among the colours reported. It was a rapid flyer, yet it spent nearly all of its time on the ground. The species was last confirmed on 14 September 1927, after which no verified sightings remained.
