The Patagonian Conure, also known as the Burrowing Parrot, is a medium-sized parrot native to South America. It is recognized by its predominantly green plumage, red forehead, and blue wing feathers. These social birds are often found in flocks and are known for their loud, raucous calls. They are highly adaptable and can be found in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, shrublands, and agricultural areas. Patagonian Conures are known for their burrowing behavior, nesting in burrows dug into cliffs or riverbanks. Their conservation status is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
