The Pearl-spotted Owlet nests in tree cavities and is a common sight in savannas, woodlands, and open forests. It is an adaptable species, often found near human settlements. Despite some habitat loss, the Pearl-spotted Owlet is not currently considered at risk and is a widespread and common species.
