Pearly Antshrike, Megastictus margaritatus, is a bird of western and central Amazonia in South America, with a breeding range in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. It lives in the understorey of evergreen forest and in nearby secondary woodland, and in Ecuador it is associated with terra firme and, in most places, forest on sandy ground. It is the only species in its genus. The species was first described by Philip Sclater in 1855, and it has a disjunct distribution across its range.
