Tyrannidae — Tyrant Flycatchers, Calyptura

Pelzeln's Tody-Tyrant, Hemitriccus inornatus, is a passerine of north-west Brazil in the tyrant flycatcher family. It lives in woodland on campinarana white-sand soils, where the trees are usually stunted but can also be tall. The species is found at scattered sites along the Negro River and its tributaries, with records also from Brazil’s Roraima and Pará states. It is a year-round resident. Adults of both sexes share the same plumage, with a brownish olive crown, whitish lores and eye-ring, dusky olive-brown wings and tail, and mostly white underparts with faint grey streaking.
