Pere David's Snowfinch, Pyrgilauda davidiana, is a passerine in the sparrow family that breeds across the eastern Palearctic, including Mongolia, southern Siberia and northern China. It is associated with montane stony and grassy steppe in Mongolia, Russia and north-eastern Qinghai through to Inner Mongolia in north-central and north-eastern China. Described by Verreaux, J in 1871, it is part of the Old World sparrows and snowfinches.
