Perija Thistletail

The Perija Thistletail is a small, secretive bird found in the cloud forests of the Perijá Mountains on the border of Colombia and Venezuela. It is known for its distinctive song and habit of skulking in dense undergrowth. This species is primarily insectivorous, foraging for invertebrates in the leaf litter and low vegetation.
