Philippine Scops Owl, Otus megalotis, is an owl of the Philippines in the family Strigidae, with a breeding range in Luzon, Catanduanes and Marinduque in the north of the country. It is also known as the Luzon lowland scops owl, and has been placed in the forest understory. Its most notable feature is its large upright ear tufts, which are reflected in the name megalotis. Three subspecies are recognised, each with differences in form and a distribution across different islands of the Philippine archipelago.
