Philippine Serpent Eagle, Spilornis holospilus, is an eagle of the Philippines, breeding across the major islands apart from the Palawan group. It was described by Vigors in 1831 and belongs to the Accipitridae. Its range is in the Oriental Region. The bird is associated with forest openings, open woodland and cultivated ground where trees are scattered, and it also occurs in tropical moist lowland forest, montane forest and second growth. It is recorded up to 2,500 metres above sea level. It is protected under Philippine law RA 9147.
