Picazuro Pigeon, Patagioenas picazuro, is a pigeon of South America, breeding in south-eastern parts of the continent. It occurs in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, and uses woodland, forest and agricultural land. Its plumage is brown, with white marks on the back of the neck and darker brown patterning on the wings. It is similar in appearance to the Spotted Dove. It nests throughout the year in a flimsy stick nest, lays a single egg, and both adults incubate it.
