Pin-tailed Snipe

Pin-tailed Snipe, Gallinago stenura, is a bird of the Scolopacidae family that breeds across the Palearctic, from low Arctic tundra to temperate montane meadows in north-western Siberia, north-east Kazakhstan, northern Mongolia, the Chukotskiy Peninsula and eastern Siberia to the Sea of Okhotsk. Outside the breeding season it is found in inland wetlands of the subtropical and tropical Oriental region, including the southern and south-eastern Arabian Peninsula, southern and south-eastern Asia, the Greater Sundas, south-eastern China, Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula and the Ryukyu Islands. It is named for the pin-like outer tail feathers.
