Pincoya Storm Petrel, Oceanites pincoyae, is a seabird of the Austral Storm Petrels, known from the Pacific Ocean in Reloncavi Sound near Puerto Montt, north of Chiloé in southern Chile. Its breeding sites are not known. The name honours the Pincoya, a female water spirit from Chilote mythology. The species was first drawn to attention from photographs taken in 2009, then examined in 2011 and formally described in 2013. It was originally recorded from waters around Chiloé Island, including Reloncavi Sound and the Chacao Channel.
