Pink-throated Becard, Pachyramphus minor, is a passerine of Amazonia in South America and belongs to the Tityridae family. It is a resident bird of the Amazon Basin and the Guiana Shield, with a range that runs through southeastern Colombia, eastern Ecuador and eastern Peru to northern Bolivia, then east through southern and eastern Venezuela, the Guianas and Brazil. It lives in a range of wooded habitats, especially evergreen terra firme forest, and also uses várzea, swamp and savanna forest. The species was first described in 1831 and is the only member of its kind.
