Plain-backed Sparrow

Plain-backed Sparrow, Passer flaveolus, is a sparrow of the Oriental Region, breeding in subtropical to tropical south-east Asia. It occurs in open woodland and cultivated areas from central and southern Myanmar through central Vietnam, and south to the central part of the Malay Peninsula. The species was described by Blyth in 1845. It belongs to the family Passeridae and the order Passeriformes.
