Phacellodomus inornatus
The Plain-mantled Tit-Spinetail is a small, inconspicuous bird found in South America. It is characterized by its plain plumage, with a brownish-gray back and a buffy underbelly. This species is often found in open woodland and scrubland habitats, where it forages for insects and spiders. It builds its nest in low shrubs or grasses, constructing a dome-shaped structure with a side entrance. The Plain-mantled Tit-Spinetail is known for its distinctive vocalizations, often heard as a series of high-pitched chirps and trills.
