Plain-winged Woodcreeper Dendrocincla turdina is a Furnariidae bird of eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-east Argentina. It lives in humid lowland forest, mature secondary woodland, foothill cloudforest and gallery forest in the cerrado, and it is usually found inside forest rather than at the edge. The species has a short straight bill and the sexes look alike, though females are smaller. The nominate form is mainly olive-brown, with faint crown streaking, a pale buff throat and slightly rufescent flight feathers, uppertail coverts and tail feathers.
