Plains Lark Corypha kabalii is a lark in the family Alaudidae that breeds in Gabon, the south of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, north-east and south-east Angola, and north-west Zambia. It was first described in 1943 by White. The species is now placed in Corypha, although it was once regarded as part of the rufous-naped lark. Three subspecies are recognised: malbranti in Gabon to south DR Congo, kabalii in north-east Angola and north-west Zambia, and irwini in south-east Angola.
