Planalto Tyrannulet, Phyllomyias fasciatus, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in eastern and south-eastern South America, including Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia. It is a forest bird, most often in humid evergreen woodland, and also occurs in semi-deciduous forest and gallery forest. The sexes look alike. Adults have olive-brown upperparts, pale markings on the face, dusky wings and tail, whitish throat and yellow underparts with some olive on the breast and sides. It has a short blackish bill, brown iris, and grey legs and feet.
