Patagioenas plumbea
The Plumbeous Pigeon (Patagioenas plumbea) is a medium-sized pigeon found in Central and South America. It has a distinctive plumage with a pale gray head, neck, and breast, and a darker gray back and wings. The underparts are a lighter gray, and the tail is tipped with white. Plumbeous Pigeons are typically found in humid lowland forests and forest edges, where they forage for fruits and seeds. They are often seen in pairs or small groups. This species is not currently considered to be at risk, and its population is thought to be stable.
