Polynesian Ground Dove, Pampusana erythroptera, is a pigeon in the Columbidae family that breeds in the Tuamotu Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean, and was formerly also found in the Society Islands of eastern Polynesia. It is now confined to the Acteon Islands. Its habitat includes tropical forest, especially where Pandanus tectorius, Pisonia grandis and shrubs grow, and it has also been noted in thick shrub beneath coconut palms. A rat eradication effort from 2015 to 2017 has enabled it to return to Tenarunga.
