Polynesian Triller, Lalage maculosa, is a passerine of the cuckoo-shrike family found in the south-west Pacific, breeding in Temotu, northern and central Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga and western Samoa. It is spread across many islands in the region and has several subspecies. Its plumage differs from place to place, with some birds showing strong black-and-white contrast and others appearing greyer or browner. It is also known for a nasal, rasping call and a short, high-pitched song.
