Prigogine's greenbul

Chlorocichla prigoginei

Prigogine's greenbul (Chlorocichla prigoginei) is a small passerine bird found in the tropical forests of Central Africa. It has a distinctive olive-green plumage with a yellowish underbelly and a black bill. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, which it uses to communicate with its mate and defend its territory. Prigogine's greenbul is primarily insectivorous, foraging for insects and small invertebrates in the dense foliage of the forest canopy. It is often observed in small groups or pairs, moving agilely through the trees. Despite its limited range, the species is not currently considered to be at risk of extinction.
