The Principe Weaver (Ploceus sanctithomae) is a small passerine bird native to the island of Principe in the Gulf of Guinea. These weavers are highly social birds, often found in flocks foraging for insects and seeds in forested areas. They construct intricate, woven nests suspended from the branches of trees. The Principe Weaver is considered a species of Least Concern by the IUCN, as it has a stable population and a relatively large range.
