Grallaria przewalskii
Przewalski's Antpitta is a medium-sized bird found in the high-altitude cloud forests of the Andes in South America. It has a distinctive olive-brown plumage with a rufous crown and white spots on the wings. This species is known for its shy and elusive behavior, often foraging on the forest floor for insects and small invertebrates. Its haunting, flute-like song can be heard echoing through the misty forests. Due to its limited range and specific habitat requirements, Przewalski's Antpitta is vulnerable to habitat loss and degradation.
