Puerto Rican Oriole, Icterus portoricensis, is a passerine in the Icteridae family and breeds in Puerto Rico. It was described by Bryant in 1866. Also known as calandria, it belongs to the New World blackbirds and the oriole group within Icterus. It was once treated as part of a single species with the Cuban Oriole, Hispaniolan Oriole and Bahama Oriole, but these were later accepted as separate species.
