Puerto Rican Tody, Todus mexicanus, is a tody in the family Todidae and order Coraciiformes, breeding in Puerto Rico in North America. It is a forest bird found across the main island, especially in damp upland woodland and thick growth such as Guánica Forest in the south. It is one of the smallest birds in its order and is the only tody without pink or yellow-green feathers on the flanks. The species was described by Lesson, RP, 1838.
