Purple-bellied Lory

The Purple-bellied Lory plays a crucial role in the pollination and dispersal of various plant species within its habitat. Unfortunately, due to habitat loss and capture for the pet trade, their populations are declining, leading to a conservation status of Vulnerable according to the IUCN Red List.
