Purple-headed Starling, Hylopsar purpureiceps, is a passerine in the starling family Sturnidae. It occurs in Africa, with a breeding range from Nigeria to Uganda and eastern, southern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was described by J. Verreaux and É. Verreaux in 1851.
