Pygmy Longbill, Oedistoma pygmaeum, is a bird of New Guinea and some nearby islands in Australasia. It belongs to the family Melanocharitidae, the berrypeckers and longbills, and was described by Salvadori in 1876. It is one of the two species placed in Oedistoma, alongside the spectacled longbill. Its breeding range covers New Guinea and some satellites. It occurs in subtropical or tropical dry forest and in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
