Pygmy Sunbird, Hedydipna platura, is a bird of the sunbird family found across Africa from Mauritania to Guinea-Bissau and east to Sudan, South Sudan and Uganda. It was described by Vieillot in 1819. The male has a green back, a yellow belly and a very long central tail feather. The female has grey-brown upperparts and dull yellow underparts.
