Tarsiger albocoeruleus Meise, 1937
Qilian Bluetail, Tarsiger albocoeruleus, is a passerine in the Muscicapidae family that breeds in north-central China, including north-eastern Qinghai, northern Gansu, Shanxi and Beijing. Outside the breeding season it moves to Myanmar and northern Thailand. It was described by Meise in 1937. It is set apart from the red-flanked bluetail by genetic and vocal differences, while its appearance is only slightly different. Males show a bluer fore-supercilium and less white than the red-flanked bluetail.
