Rachel's Malimbe, Malimbus racheliae, is a bird of the Ploceidae family that breeds in Africa from south-eastern Nigeria to central Gabon. It is associated with lowland forests around the Gulf of Guinea, including Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Nigeria. The species was named for Rachel Cassin Davis, daughter of the ornithologist John Cassin. Its nest is made by three or four birds, with a single female taking the lead. Once the nest is complete, one of the males drives away the others, and the pair then share incubation.
