Rand's Warbler

Randia pseudozosterops Delacour & Berlioz, 1931

Rand's Warbler, Randia pseudozosterops, is a passerine in the Bernieridae family that breeds in north-western and eastern Madagascar. It is tied to the island’s eastern rainforests and other moist lowland forest, where it is fairly common up to 1200 m. Its plumage is grey above and plain pale below, with a bold pale supercilium. The bill is robust and slightly downcurved, and some birds show a pale orange lower mandible. It is often seen in mixed-species flocks, moving along sloping or level branches, and it sings for long periods from the canopy.
