Recurve-billed Bushbird, Clytoctantes alixii, is a passerine antbird that breeds in north-west Venezuela and northern Colombia. It lives in dense undergrowth in evergreen forest edges, regenerating clearings and nearby secondary forest, and has also been linked with bamboo in one Colombian area. Its most striking feature is the pale horn bill, which is laterally compressed and turns upwards at the tip. The species is known from a few scattered localities, including Sierra de Perijá in Venezuela and several Colombian departments. It was described by Elliot in 1870 and is monotypic.
