Red-bellied Malimbe, Malimbus erythrogaster, is a bird of the family Ploceidae found in Africa from south-eastern Nigeria through the Republic of the Congo and east to Uganda and eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was described by Reichenow in 1893. Its recorded breeding range also extends across Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and South Sudan.
