Patagioenas flavirostris (Wagler, 1831)

Red-billed Pigeon, Patagioenas flavirostris, is a pigeon of Middle America that breeds widely across the region, with a range that reaches from southern Texas to Costa Rica. It is most often associated with coastal and lowland parts of Mexico and Central America, and it also occurs in dry woodland and beside river wetlands. The bird is a fairly large, sturdy pigeon with dark slate-grey plumage, a maroon to purple head, neck and wing coverts, and a red bill tipped with yellow. It lacks the iridescent collar seen in some related pigeons.
