Red-browed Amazon, Amazona rhodocorytha, is a parrot of eastern and south-eastern Brazil, where it is found in tropical forest. It is a member of the family Psittacidae and was described by Salvadori in 1890. Its range is now limited to a few remaining forest blocks, including the largest area in Espírito Santo, with further records in south-east Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, northern São Paulo and eastern Alagoas. It is recognised as a separate species from the blue-cheeked amazon.
