Red-headed Parrotfinch, Erythrura cyaneovirens, is found in Samoa in the Pacific Ocean, where it lives in subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest. It is a common estrildid finch and belongs to the family Estrildidae, within the order Passeriformes. The species was described by Peale in 1849. Its global extent of occurrence is estimated at 20,000 to 50,000 km2.
