Red Lark, Calendulauda burra, is a lark of the family Alaudidae that breeds in southern Africa, chiefly in western South Africa. It is also placed in the order Passeriformes. The bird is associated with dry shrubland and dry lowland grassland in subtropical or tropical areas. It has been known under the names ferruginous lark and ferruginous sand-lark. Its scientific name was established by Bangs in 1930.
