Red-legged Tinamou, Crypturellus erythropus, is a tinamou of the family Tinamidae and order Tinamiformes. It occurs in northern South America, with its breeding range given as South America: n. The species is found in Guyana, Suriname, Colombia, Venezuela and north-eastern Brazil, and also on Margarita Island; it may additionally occur in French Guiana. It uses dry forest most often, but also moist forest, lower-elevation shrubland and grassland. It is usually seen below 1,300 m.
