Red-naped Ibis, Pseudibis papillosa, is an ibis of the Indian subcontinent, breeding in India, Pakistan and Nepal. It occurs in plains, farmed land and cities, and is more often seen away from water than other ibises in the area, though it is drawn to places with more wetlands. It is usually encountered in pairs or small loose groups. Its key feature is the dark body with a white shoulder patch and a bare dark head marked by crimson warty skin on the crown and nape. It nests in tall trees or palms, and also on cell phone and electricity towers.
