Red-rumped Bush Tyrant, Cnemarchus erythropygius, is a tyrant flycatcher of the Andes in South America, with a breeding range from Colombia to Bolivia. It lives in grassy and shrubby páramo and in Polylepis groves, and is a year-round resident. The sexes look alike. The nominate form has a white forehead, a hoary grey crown, dark grey-brown upperparts and a rufous rump, while the other subspecies is greyer above with a brown rump and a paler belly. Both forms have a brown iris, black bill, and black legs and feet.
