Red-tailed Minla, Minla ignotincta, is a passerine in the family Leiothrichidae and breeds across the Oriental Region from the Himalayas to southern Laos. It is the only species placed in the genus Minla. Its range extends through Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Described by Hodgson in 1837, it belongs to the order Passeriformes and the laughingthrushes and allies.
