Serilophus rubropygius
The Red-tailed Minla is a small passerine bird found in the eastern Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive red tail and a combination of blue, black, and white plumage on its body. This species is known for its melodious calls and often forages in mixed-species flocks in montane forests. The Red-tailed Minla primarily feeds on insects and small fruits, using its agile and acrobatic flight to capture prey. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and degradation in its range may pose future conservation challenges for this charming bird.
