Amazona brasiliensis
The Red-tailed Parrot (Amazona brasiliensis) is a medium-sized parrot species native to Brazil. It is known for its striking red tail feathers and vibrant green plumage. These parrots are highly social and often form large flocks, displaying complex social behaviors. They are primarily found in the Atlantic Forest, where they inhabit dense, humid forests and wooded areas. The Red-tailed Parrot is an important seed disperser, playing a crucial role in the forest ecosystem.
